I want this year to be full of sunsets. One of the perks of now living in Devon is that the scenery and sky are just so beautiful.

"Every city has a sex and an age which have nothing to do with demography. Rome is feminine. So is Odessa. London is a teenager, an urchin, and in this hasn’t changed since the time of Dickens. Paris, I believe, is a man in his twenties in love with an older woman."

Back to blogging after what can’t really even be described as a hiatus. I still return to this blog, and the one beforehand, to check what I was doing on the current day over the past six years. Some of it is easier to handle than the rest. A lot of it makes me cringe, but a lot more makes me understand the girl I used to be. Gives me a bit of perspective and reminds me not to be so hard on myself, as well as how I needn’t worry about things working themselves out, because they always do.
